This is my motorcycle test ride review blog. I take the opportunities available to everyone to test ride bikes when they become available and bring my perspective to you. I am not paid and do not ride as a profession so the reviews I bring are that of an average motorcycle enthusiast.

At 50 years old I’ve been riding about 27 years with approximately 250,000 miles of riding experience. I’ve taken the MSF experienced rider course, Stayin’ Safe motorcycle course and one CLASS track day course at the Virginia International Raceway (VIR) track. All great classes that I highly recommend. Especially the Stayin Safe course.

Currently, I’m riding a 2011 BMW R1200RT and a 2012 Victory Cross Country.  I love them both. They’re opposite ends of a spectrum and I appreciate them both for what they do, and don’t do. However, if one had to go it would be the Victory. The BMW really satisfies my riding style.
